Anna's 3 step Watermelon Agua Frescas!

Often visiting the sunny Balearic islands, Anna our Hammersmith studio manager and Instructor has brought back and shared with us her SUPER simple recipe by using the freshest seasonal ingredient for you to quench that summer thirst!

Serves 4


  • 1x Watermelon
  • Ice cubes (depends on desired consistency)
  • Water (depends on desired consistency)
  • Agave nectar/sweetener of choice (Optional)


  1. Chop watermelon into large chunks, remove as much skin and white bits as possible, leaving only red flesh
  2. Add to blender, adding a dash of water and 4 ice cubes to begin with
  3. Get blendin'! Depending on the consistency you want, add more water/ice cubes as desired.

Watermelon is made up of 92% water, plus it's full of antioxidants and electrolytes - perfect for a post workout drink if a shake's too heavy on the stomach.

...Feel free to replace ice cubes with frozen berries for some natural sweetness, or add vodka for a more fun afternoon!
